This time last year...

This time last year...
This is a really cool month for us. This time last year we were in Guatemala. We left for Guatemala on August 8th, 2006 and were forever with Braeden on August 9th. It is amazing how quickly time goes! I felt like time stood still when I was waiting for Braeden and now I see him getting bigger and bigger each day and I can't believe it.
August 29th is our FOREVER HOME day so I am really excited about it. We are going to get a pinata and special presents for Braeden and celebrate!

It has been FOREVER since we have posted. The last few weeks have been crazy. For those who don't know...Braeden did NOT have surgery. It has been postponed so that Braeden can see some specialists (cardiology and GI). He is hanging in there but going through QUITE a case of the terrible twos. LOTS of tantrums, hitting, throwing, etc. Let me tell you, it is funny but also tough. I try not to laugh but he just looks so funny when he is throwing a fit or deciding that he doesn't like me or Shawn.
Mommy is tired, too, as this week has been quite draining. I am hanging in thers and am pleased to say that I have not had ONE tantrum!

We had a wonderful time down the shore this weekend! Braeden LOVED the boardwalk! He had pizza, hot dogs, french fries, and french toast...YIPPEE!!!
